Calibration of Work Zone Impact Analysis Software for Missouri

This project calibrated two software programs (WZ Spreadsheet and VISSIM) which are used to estimate the traffic impacts of work zones. The calibration used field data from two work zones in Missouri (I-44 and I-70). The study found that a calibration based on delay or travel time exhibitied better overall performance than a calibration based on queue length.
